10 Months Old

Santa!

Christmas Carnival at Second Baptist Church

The Party!

The Presents

Scooby dooby doo! Hayes's new favorite cartoon.

Fire Chief Hayes

Movie!! Toy Story 3 (I don't even know how many times we have watched it since then) and Santa Paws!

And the much anticipated Pillow Pet! He had been talking about one of these for 6 months. "Mommy, it's a pillow and a pet." He had been asking for one for Christmas so on Christmas I asked him if he got everything he asked Santa for. He said, "he didn't bring me a pillow pet." I explained that he didn't bring one because he got one for his birthday.

Ah...time to relax.

Happy 4th Birthday Hayes!

Eli was up at 5:30am on the morning of 12/16 and guess who he woke up? That's right! The birthday boy! I heard Hayes say, "look what Santa brought me." I explained that it was his birthday not Christmas yet, and the easel was from mommy and daddy. He is so excited and this was around 5:45am.

Breakfast ~ Hayes's favorite ~ pancakes with blueberries on the side.

December 16th was the last day of school for the year, and school was cancelled due to snow. So Hayes didn't get to celebrate with his friends at school or have his Christmas party (until January 4th). So we went to Pirate Pete's for a while that afternoon. He had to wear his pirate shirt. Dinner was also another favorite ~ pepperoni pizza, however he only eats the pepperoni.

And for dessert...red velvet cake. That is a story in itself.

Christmas Card

We didn't send out Christmas cards this year because our computer crashed.

This would have been the our Christmas card photo if somebody didn't have one orange glove.

So then I was going to settle for this one. (Notice Hayes's haircut)

Outtakes!

Busted! We had to tell Eli NO! about a million times before he stopped taking ornaments off the tree. Here he is with one in hand about to jerk it off.

Trimming the Tree

PreK Christmas Program 12/6

Beforehand!

Eli with the matching outfit.

I want a hippopotamus for Christmas. Only a hippopotamus will do.

Feliz Navidad. These styrofoam cups had beans in them. That is all you could hear during the performance.

PreK! Hayes is slightly left of the center between the two microphones. Up on the next to the last step.
